Danielle Buckett secures acquittal for vulnerable defendant in stabbing trial

A vulnerable young defendant with communication difficulties was accused of two assaults occasioning actual bodily harm by stabbing and affray. Despite the defendant admitting some physical contact, self-defence was raised and he denied using any weapon. Following Danielle’s speech, the defendant was unanimously acquitted of all charges after the jury retired for just 16 minutes.
